Privacy
The short version first, then the details. Last updated: October 17, 2026.
The short version
TraceCub has no accounts and no uploads. The name you type into the generator stays in your browser — the worksheet is drawn on your own device, and nothing you type is sent to us or stored anywhere. The site does use basic analytics (see below), and ads will be added in the future to support it; both are described here in plain English.
What we don't collect
- No sign-ups, no accounts. There is nothing to register for, and we don't ask for your name or email.
- No uploads. The names and any text you type into the generator are processed in your browser only — they are never uploaded to a server or saved by us.
What is collected
- Basic request data. Like nearly every website, our hosting provider (Cloudflare) processes technical information — such as your IP address and browser type — to serve the pages and protect the site from abuse.
- Analytics. We use Google Analytics to understand how many people visit and which pages are useful. It uses cookies and collects usage data such as the pages you view, your approximate location, and your device type. You can block cookies in your browser settings at any time.
Advertising — coming soon
TraceCub is supported by advertising. We plan to display ads from third-party ad networks in the future. When ads go live, those partners may use cookies or device identifiers to serve and measure advertising. We will update this notice before that happens, with the partners involved and what they use — if ad partners' practices matter to you, check back on this page.
Children's privacy
TraceCub is made for parents, teachers and other adults to use with children. The tool itself asks for nothing: no account, no personal details, no uploads from anyone, including children.
